Red Hot Summer
We all hope for a red hot summer, but it’s rare we get one. Regardless, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it in drink form. To make yours, you’ll need:
Ingredients:
- Red wine.
- Ice.
- Lemon and lime soda.
- A fresh lime.
Directions:
Simply pour the wine into the glass so it’s 3 quarters full, then top up with your soda. Add as much ice as you like and garnish with a fresh slice of lime!
Cherry Jam
Some people like their jam on toast, but I like mine in a martini glass. To make this cocktail, you’ll need:
Ingredients:
- Cherry jam.
- Lemon juice.
- Vodka.
- Chandon Brut classic.
Directions:
Using a cocktail shaker, combine your ingredients together. Use 1 spoon of jam, a third lemon juice, a third vodka, and 3 ounces of your Brut classic. Mix well with ice and strain into a glass.
Red Splash
To really make a splash at your dinner party or with your friends, try the Red Splash. To make it, you’ll need:
Ingredients:
- Camarena tequila silver.
- Pinot noir.
- Lime juice.
- Agave nectar.
- Grapefruit soda.
- Lime wedge.
Directions:
Use about 1 and a half ounces of tequila, 1 and a half ounces of pinot noir, half an ounce of lime juice, and half an ounce of agave nectar. Finally, add 2 ounces of grapefruit soda and shake in a cocktail shaker with as much ice as you like. Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!
The Star Gazer
Want to spend your night gazing at the stars? You might just do that if you have too many of these! This is probably one of my favorites, along with the margarita. To make one of these, you’ll need:
Ingredients:
- Chardonnay.
- Dark rum.
- Vanilla bean syrup.
- Pineapple juice.
- A lime wedge.
Directions:
Mix 2 ounces of chardonnay with 1 ounce of your dark rum. You can buy this kind of French wine online. You can then add half an ounce of vanilla bean syrup and pineapple juice before shaking with lots of ice. What next? You guessed it… garnish with your wedge and enjoy!
Cool Melon Mint
For this refreshing wine based cocktail, you’ll need:
Ingredients:
- A sweet white wine.
- Elderflower cordial.
- A cubed honeydew melon.
- Crushed ice.
- Soda water.
Directions:
Using a blender, mix a quarter cup of elderflower cordial and some melon cubes. When smooth, add as much ice as you like and 3 quarters of a cup of wine. Blend again, and fill up with your soda water.
